A Today Screen Cube I'd like to see.
2 Attachment(s)
It would be great if someone could put together a cube that switches between multiple today screens plus the dialpad. That way you could have full use of the screen for your programs and not have to squeeze them all to fit one screen. Here's how I'm thinking it could look like.

Wow, 217 views and not one reply?
IrogSinta, you're way ahead of our time. This is an amazing concept. You're definitely thinking outside of the cube . |
That is a Cube I would actually use. I don't really like the current ones, but it would be nice to switch between running apps that way and have multiple today screens.

For the cubes that are out there, they work on the idea that they know what the next screen is going to look like because the screens are all part of one application. You can paint the next screen to memory.
To switch between apps, or do some sort of cubed virtual desktop we'd maybe have to come up with some sort of fake screen buffer and trick windows to draw to that instead of the screen, use the image in the cube transition, and then let it draw again. I don't know enough about graphics to make that happen, but that's the right direction I think. |
awesome idea, just what we have been looking for. i dont like that much the Cubes right now nd well im stick with GoodWin for now.

omg that is such a good idea! i would love that...nice thinking!

Wow man... that's a bad ass concept. I really hope someone gets working on that because I would actually use that kind of cube.

This would rock

To me sounds like we already have Wisbar Desktop. How about if we add TouchFlo and Cube transition to it, would this not give us the basic concept.
