OperaMini: HELP ME PLEASE(NOOB)
 

how do i get opera mini installed onto my phone because i downloaded the jar file from the web but it doesnt open, what do i need to do

Use whatever java program you have on your phone, and run it through there :)

Or use Opera Mobile.

I second that. Just use opera mobile, works better than opera mini anyhow heh.

Something IS wrong. I have helmi wm6 so I have Esmertec java already installed. Opera Mini beta 2 will NOT work for me either. It installs fine, but when running the midlet a screen comes up that says Opera Mini with a progress bar. At about 85% it stops and says failed to connect to internet. Tried evrything, updating the midlet, reinstalling, restarting, nothing works. Can someone else confirm? Remember its the beta 2 version........

Yeah... I could get the first beta of mini 4 to install and work on my Kirvin C&S 3.5, but not the Beta 2. One other note...with the beta 1, the finger scroll would not work with the Esmertec manager, but I installed the Intent Manager and everything is fine.

i dont think i have a java program on my device and if i dont where can i get one
