Add new cities to HTC Home plugin?
 

Is it possible to add more cities to the home plugin in the WM6 rom? I live in Rochester, Minnesota, but all it finds is "Rochester, US" which I am assuming is Rochester NY. I really like this weather plugin, but it's obviously useless to me right now.

This didn't work for me unfortunately, but it has worked for many other people.

Yes go to our software forum and look for the HTC Home Customizer by emunutz. He wrote a nice GUI to customize tons of things with the plugin, including adding cities to the list.

I think there is an HTC Home Customizer (or something like that) thread over in the Software section. You might want to check there. I think there was an option for adding additional cities.

Oh sweet, I was wondering the same thing as the city I live in isn't displayed either. I actually really like the HTC Home plugin....

I went through the steps to add my local city to the list and it can never get the data.
I tried

<city name="Brunswick, ME" loca="NAM|US|ME|BRUNSWICK" land="United States"/>

and

<city name="Brunswick1, ME" loca="04011" land="United States"/>

they come up in the list for me to choose from, but they never were able to pull any data down.

I have tried other cities that were on the list already and it is able to get the weather for them.

any help?
