Activesync wouldn't install on pc
 

Today I formatted my computer's harddrive and reloaded window XP w/sp2 and now I can't install Activesync in my pc. :x What's worse is that I also did a hard reset on my ppc today and now I can't load any apps for my ppc. I tried 4.1 and 4.2 with no luck. Yes, I turned off the firewall. Anyone had that problem before?

have you tried the 4.5 beta version? that's what i'm using now and it works fine for me. for some odd reason, i ran into the same problem when i did the same thing to my pc. i could install 4.1 and 4.2 but i couldn't get them to work. i'm using zone alarm and windows firewall on my pc. i didn't have much of a problem with zone alarm but the windows firewall is what gave me the most problems. try the beta version and see if that one works out for you.

4.5? i just downloaded what i thought was the latest from the microsoft site. 4.2. i was running 4.0. Still stuck with the looking for changes. GRRRRR. i cant figure this out. i have tried everyhting i can find. I will try the beta and see if i can get this to finally work again.
