Touch Scrolling and WM6
OK - now that Helmi_C has blessed us with WM6, has anyone tried to get touch scrolling (TouchFLO) working? I AM NOT talking about the cube. I have no interest in the cube. I want to be able to scroll with my finger. It is my understanding that system DLLs need to be replaced, so I'm guessing that making a cab to add this functionality may be difficult/impossible. Hopefully once we have a kitchen to work with this process will be easier. Touch scrolling on WM6 with our Apaches will be amazing...I'm sure it's only a matter of time! Any ideas?!

PocketCM .11 does this well for Contacts.
Picsel Browser works for Web Browsing. I don't know if it is possible to apply the change System Wide. |
I understand that certain programs permit finger scrolling. That is not the goal here. We are trying to enable TouchFLO, which allows you to use your finger to scroll just about everywhere in the OS, including PIE. Has anyone reading this thread made any progress? As I said earlier, this may have to wait until there's a kitchen, but that can't be too far off.

I don't know about that, i've tried but the scroll area is to small, and my fingers are to fat. What i'd be after is changing the volume control on the side to scroll.

Jay6700...we're not talking about scrolling with a finger down the scroll bars on the side of the screen...we're talking about using a finger anywhere on the screen, and dragging up or down for the appropriate scrolling effect. Go read about the HTC Touch to better understand some of the TouchFLO functionality. People often confuse TouchFLO with the Cube which is basically just a launcher that happens to ship on the HTC Touch. A few other HTC devices that run WM6 have been able to run TouchFLO. Now that we have WM6, our goal is to do it too.
