tiermann,

Thanks for the info. I'll give that a try.

Oh and thanks for not pointing out my retardedness, the link to pdaphonehome thread WAS for the Bluefrog. I didn't notice it until I tried another test and went into remove programs. lol.

I'll let you know my luck when I have a chance to use your information.

Cheers!

Quick Question

Hey tiermann i had a quick question for you i have the HTC Touch by sprint and ive been trying to replace the background of my dialer but it tells me to check if i have enough memory which i do and to check if its not protected or something like that, so for that reason i can't change it you wouldn't know what i would have to do to get past this i would really appreciate your help.

You'll need to use a different file manager to replace ROM files. Resco Explorer, Total Commander, etc will all work. Windows file explorer or ActiveSync won't overwrite them.

For the Samsung SCH-i760 that I'm using the Equinoxe Wizard Retouched 2 dialer skin seems to be working in the manner as the old Touch. It appears so far that your TDial Designer program will successfully create skins for this dialer.

I have 2 questions (and please excuse me for not knowing what the proper names for the skin parts are).

In the box to the left of the Clear button and the History button, the text appears as follows:

Last Call:
Contact, Name
(666) 666-666

The "Last Call:" text is one color (black)
The "Contact, Name" and phone number are a different color (white)

I believe a reply on page 16 of this thread lists the registry keys to change for changing the color of the "Contact, Name" and phone number text.

Can someone tell me what the registry keys are that need to be changed for changing the color of the "Last Call:" text?

And the keys for changing the text colors in the Smart Dialer window also?

Thank you very much!

would this work on the mogul? Does the smart dial function still work (and 911?) I hate the stock dialer skin (well hate's a strong word, maybe dislike will do) but I don't want to lose that functionality

I believe the dialer here will work with Sprint's Mogul:

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...heme-here.html

And I believe T said that his TDial designer would work with it using the Bluefrog Dialer option.

Those registry entries are only for BlueFrog/new Touch. They do nothing for old Touch, sorry.

The old Touch dialer is the only one with broken 911. TDial designer only changes images, it doesn't add or remove any functionality so whatever is working with one dialer will continue to work.
