i just had the same problem. I just called Verizon and they switched me out with another refurbished phone. I do not have insurance and have had my phone for over a year and a half. It was also my 5th phone (slider loose, lost radio, slider loose, power button slow to respond, joystick nonresponsive.) any issue they have been great to switch it out and this is the first time i have had to pay anything. Actually the data guy said that the other buttons would soon go out as well. Good luck but REMEMBER to flash back to UTstar Rom

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for cuz 1st he says it's an OEM joystick replacement, then later says it's the rubber cover.

Hi all,

Figured I will post this here too since I know a couple of my friends here wanted to know this .

I found the email for the guy selling OEM joystick replacements. Its chicagodesi@gmail.com

I bought two for $9. Its perfect. I love my phone again without a painful finger.

I had mine go on me (got stuck in the pushed-in position). Verizon said it was a design flaw and replaced the phone free of charge.
