Yankees audio Stream (MLB)

does anyone know how to get a audio stream for live games??

That may be a tough one. I do not believe that stations are allowed to broadcast the games over the internet even if they are over the air. MLB dot com may have the rights to that and wants $$.

You can check www.thestreamcenter.com/pda, but I don't think it will work. MLB blacks out any broadcast (radio or TV) if you are out of your teams city's broadcast area. Since internet streams do not geolocate their listeners, they are ALWAYS blacked out, even if you are in NY listening to an NY radio station over the internet.

Sorry bud, blame MLB.[/url]

The only way I know of is to use XM streaming. The have the MLB games, as previously menioned online radio stations that stream music do not stream sports. If you had a radio tuner card you could tune in directly, but I don't think you'll find a streaming source.

I would try the streamcenter just as johnny suggested. Search for your local radio station that boardcast the game.

MLB shutdown the only one I knew of...besides xm

Last year I used an app that interfaced with the mlb.tv stuff, used to listen to games all the time, and watch them via wifi. But the app was shut down by mlb. It was called IvanX live baseball browser...a shame mlb shut it down. Still had to have a subscription to mlb.tv to use it, so they got there money anyways. I'm guessing it's the same thing the mlb tried to do to slingbox, which is an alternative if your home team has all the games broadcast...and you have broadband...just be careful of the data you use if you have vzw...
But slingbox has the cash for the lawyers...

Yeah LBB was great. Hopefully MLB Advanced Media will release something in its place by the beginning of next season that works with WinMo.
