Does anyone possibly have a good service site where they offer Custom painting/detailing for this phone. Suggestions? Thanx.

The safe way I know of is to completely disassemble the phone, paint the parts how you want them then re-assemble.

There was some that did it on there own. Disassemble link in my sig.

Rest assured what particular paints/gloss are people using in general for painting there devices. I simply don't want to get a krylon and spray and call it done...

You can buy paint for car interiors at any auto parts. Just be careful when reassembly with the holes for the buttons especially with the memo button. If the paint coat get too thick it can get stuck and the ppc stuck on boot mode. I did with my but just painted gray. You can be creative if you what to.

I'm no expert painter, but this past weeked I painted the battery of cover of my cousic's 6700. I gave him one that I built out of a few junk ones, and the battery cover was silver with the housing being black. I got some steel wool ro ruff it up, then used some paint from the hardware store. came out really nice. He lives quite far, otherwise I'd take pics.

Also I did see a guy in the Vogue forums who painted his phone, I'll see if I can find that thread. It was quite nice.

I fact the hard part is disassemble the phone, once you feel comfortable doing it the rest is just lake paint a bicycle. Just prepare the surface with sand paper (3m dry/wet is the best) and painted with a paint made for bond of plastic.

I really had in mind about car paint myself. Thanks for the heads up.

Pics would be nice to see... I have on a black verizon housing on my sprint phone right now. I can't stand the stock sprint housing for some reason not my color of choice.
