Help with txt messaging
 

I am not able to send text messages to other carriers. I have verizon xv6700 and upgraded to aku 3.5.1 and everything else works great. When I send a text I get a messages that "message sent" but the person does not receive it. I called verizon and they said there are no locks on my account and they have no idea why. I called cingular (the carrier) I was trying to send to (my wife's phone) and they said it was verizon's problem.

I have tried upgrading to 3.5.1.04 but I get a error message about voicecmd.exe not being found so i went back to the 3.5.1.0.

Any thoughs would be appreciated.

I used helmi's. I just downloaded Kirvin's 3.3 and was going to try and give that a whirl

Your problem is an issue with the older kitchens. It has since been fixed.

As for Voice Command the exe has never been included, except by mistake once. You need to own the program and move the exe in to the proper OEM file. It will then work as it should.

I have voicecmd.exe (i bought it originally). How do I put it in to the OEM? step by step would be awesome. thanks.

I just upgraded to the Helmi's aku 3.5.1.04 but I still cannot send a text to my wife's cingular phone. I still get a message saying that the message was sent but she is not getting it on her phone. Everything else works great.

I got it all to work thanks (voice command and texting)

Post what you did to solve your problems so anyone else who runs into this problem will have a solution when they find this thread. Glad everything worked out for you.

ya, having same problem here with the not being able to text cingular peoples... wondering if u could shed some light on this subject as to how u got it corrected...
