How to for reseting the PPC 6700?
 

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask...

I successfully retrieved the MSL code for my Sprint PPC6700.

What information do I need to reset to make it work on Cingular/ATT network?

My current Cingular phone uses a ATT SIM card. Can I just pop out my sim card from my old audiovox phone and stick it the PPC6700?

But seriously, yes, you should be able to just pop in your sim card and go. Try it and see what happens, then post back.

the ppc6700 doesn't have a sim card....so no that's not possible

you can't use the 6700 on ATT. the 6700 doesn't have a sim card slot. and is CDMA not GSM

I apologize. I was kind of being an @$$ earlier.
Yes, BigMat and Courtney are right, the carrier swap will not work because the 6700 is a CDMA phone, instead of a GSM phone, and it does not have a sim card.
Again, sorry for the flaming.
If you want to bring the 6700 to another carrier we can help you there, just not a carrier that uses GSM only.
