Free data connection?
 

I just bought an extra htc apache and I haven't hooked it upto my account and i signed on to IE and it connected through to the net. Wifi was turned off and there was no reason I could see why I could have a connection. I got it set up on the verizon and I just installed 6.5. I have no clue why it's doing this and to say the least I don't mind. I did try to make a few calls but no luck lol. But I thought someone might br interested (unless everyone already knows about it) because it might be something of use. Later

Well that is certainly odd.. although I just think it is not possible lol.. Would have to see it to believe it.

I've had this happen before. Always when I first purchase the phone (used). The free internet goes away. Not sure why it happens, but it does. I had it happen on a 6700, a Touch, and after I got my Pro, my Diamonds internet worked for about a day after I deactivated it (although phone calls and text didn't).
