How to access WiFi on an Alltel PPC 6700?

Just purchased a PPC 6700 for my son. It recognizes wifi signals but when he tries to connect it goes to the Alltel startup page. I bought the phone used and activated it without a smartphone upgrade. Sure would appreciate some direction on how to get around the Alltel page and go directly to internet. Thanks.

WHy don't you try changing the homepage.. Also can u surf other websites other than the Alltel one?

if you cant try to see the connection setting for it.
and is the wifi info correct like the password and stuff?
