a few problems with my 6700

Hello all, I have a couple of problems that I've tried searching for so I figure I could ask the experts. After soft reset my vibrates and rings (with the "Ring.wav") for a least the first 30 sec. and I don't have that ringer set for anything. It's very loud and annoying if I forget to turn to vibrate before rebooting. Also after rebooting a get an error that "/boot" cannot be found. Last thing I promise, I attempted the reg. hack that stops the volume change sound, but it didn't work for me, and now periodically I get a "beep" (the volume change sound" when nothing is being touched. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreicated. Thanks in advance.

I also noticed that whenever I run memmaid quickclean right when it gets to duplicate notifications it starts with the ring.wav playing off and on. Any ideas?
