Verizon users can one of you help me out?
 

ok so I was wondering if any of you verizon users out there (if any) could do me a favor and zip you extended rom and send it my way via email to lvballer06@gmail? If you don't know how to do this then you will need to...

1. download total commander and install.

2. create a folder named whatever u like (ie extrom) this is to copy the extended rom to.

3. open total commander, in the address bar type in /extended_rom this will bring up ur extended rom.

4. select all the files and hold to bring up menu to copy.

5. find the folder u created earlier in step 2. and paste those files there.

6. then use the built in zip program to make a new zip archive and add the folder u created with the ext rom in it. It should be about 6mb or so after being zipped.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :D

Oh yeah, there is a 1mb file size limit.... The zip is 2.8mb.

haha :D thanks for that. yea send it to my email addy above if u don't mind. its only 2.8mb?? wow mine from sprint is 6.6mb zipped. I'm gonna look into what yall have in there and what ur config.txt says, ived been playing with my extended and need alittle help from verzion since they install the mms via there. But when I try it doesn't show up sooo I'm hoping this will help. Plus I will be doing a writeup on custom extendeds soon. To help free up space.
