WM5Newmenu problem
Anyone else had this problem?
I installed new menu via my custom rom from the new 1.04 kitchen... When I try to configure it, it seems to accept my changes... (binding to the left soft key, removing a couple of the options from the menu). However, when I click the left soft button from the today screen, it still takes me into my calendar. Anyone had this problem? Suggestions as to why it might be doing this? |
You have to soft-reset after enabling or disabling it, I think.

I did.. no luck.
I figured out that if I switch it to the right soft button, then switch it back, it works, but it binds both soft buttons. still hoping for a solution that ACTUALLY works. |
Sorry :( I don't have any more info for you to try. I've been using the new built-in features in wisbaradvance3 to customize my softbuttons so I havn't had WM5Menu installed with 1.04. I did use it in 1.01-.03 though with no issues like that.

Ok, so after thinking about this, it's probably just a registry key that got screwed up somehow and go pointed back to the old setting of calendar.
If you have a registry editor, check out [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2] and see if the "Open" key is set to "\\Windows\\WM5NewMenu.exe". If not then try manually changing it and soft-reseting. |
