help with the 6700!!! how can i watch downloaded Content?
 

hello everyone. how can I watch videos downloaded from websites on my xv6700?

some video play automatically, but for the times I'm propted to download a file, I've tried the "yes" option and the "save file as" option.

after the file is done downloading, nothing happens. I go to file explorer and find the file but it says something about launching an app first.

I tried opening it through WMP, but to no avail.

can someone please help?

also, how can I get an updated internet browser? yahoo doesn't show its new format and theres a message saying to get the update.

sorry if these are stupid questions. I'm new to ppcs.

1. To play videos that are in a format that is not WMP 10 compatiable I suggest you try out TCPMP. This little program can play almost any file type u can think of.

2. As far as different browsers there are many. minimo (free), opera mini (not free), and a few others I cant think of at this moment. I stick to PIE with the PIE Plus plug in myself. But have you tried using yahoos mobile site? wap.oa.yahoo.com

Thanks man... Sorry for asking so many questions but which version am I supposed to download? Everytime I try a version, it says something like, "Not a valid ppc app".
