No Sender name when getting texts
 

when i recieve texts it doesnt show the user's name, it just says the first word as the senders name. what can i do to fix this? i just did the new update release 1.04 and im not sure if something in there is the cause of it. Thanks for letting me know ahead of time. :)

what rom are you using. Did you make it yourself? Is it threaded? Or pOutlook?

no i didnt make it. i just dled the release 1.04 that is posted and unchecked everything i didnt want, i actually unchecked EVERYTHING from the list to see if that would fix it but it didnt. any ideas? i dnot know if its threaded or not.

Well, if you used the kitchen, that would mean you made it yourself, lol. Anyway, did you check the correct carrier option when you used BuildOS? Also, when you flash your phone, when the "You device will be customized in 3 seconds" you need to do a soft reset before it has a chance to install. What it does is install all the .cabs located in your extrom. However, you don't need them, as they are already built into the rom, as long as you checked the correct carrier when using BuildOS. So it installs some non-needed things that you don't need, which can cause some problems. Try that, and let me know what happens.
