Sprint Music Store for the Apache - any reason why not?
I was at the sprint store today looking at the Titan (couldn't justify paying full price for it with the new kitchen rom on my Apache).
I was looking at the sprint music store application on the Titan/Mogul. It seems to be just a java app that runs on its java program. Since the new Apache kitchen has esmertec java, why couln't we just run the music store through there? I have been trying to download the java ap, but can't find it online. I am going to look in the titan forum to see if anyone can provide it for me to try. Thoughts? |
That would be less then advised due to how the program works. When the program downloads an mp3 the charges go to your account. But since its flagged as a ppc6700 it'll look fraudulent. Further more I doubt it'll get through the authentication process on sprints server.
But if you get it to work more power to ya! |

ok. I tried copying the files to /windows. I tried running from both the file itself and from esmertec java. no dice. clicking on the music.exe launches esmertec java but the java ap (midlet?) is missing. I feel like there should be a .jad file but there was not one supplied. If anyone has any ideas or can get this to work, I'd be willing to test a few song downloads and see how the billing situation works out.
