Where is the best place to follow instructions on working in the kitchen? I followed the one in Helms but still having problems.

Its really easy...first try to build a ROM using whats already there. That will give you a good idea of what it is all about. Then try to create your own cabs to add. These guys have worked hard on it and there are already a lot of good programs in it.

I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction if you let us know what kind of problems you ran into.
