Problem with memory!!! I hate that pop up
 

How do I change the internet temporary cache file to go straight to memory card and not phone memory because its has less then 30mb and everytime I am surfing I.E or music I get that pop up that you storage memory is low..and right now i have only 5mb left phone memory and have 2gbcard

It tells you how in this thread, but I have to warn you that doing this has always made my 6700 IE unstable. It will close randomly, and at times not even open.

yea i would imagine the ie to act up if u change the catche folder to the SD card. I start out w/ 14.1mb of memory on mine (got a lot of stuff on it..lol) and if it gets low I just do a quick "Delete Files" and bam i'm bak to 14.1mb (althugh I wish i was more at 20mb but it's all good) It's just like home comp. just gotta clean out the folder once in a while.

I always do quick delete files, I will try moving temp to sd or move some programs to sd and that way phone memory will be free memory

Asuming your extended rom is open. I have been using that for pie cache files, is as fast and stable as in main memory without any pie problems. I also set the size of the cache to 3.5 megs - I never have to clear my cache.
