Restoring XV6700 Verizon
 

I would like to restore my XV6700 Verizon to the original Mobile 5. Installed one of the roms from here. I did not make a backup of the original rom since I thought it was on the verizon CD. Can anyone help me??? :cry:

login to the Verizon Wireless website using your account and click on "my Phone"

Then click "phone/device support"

Choose your model phone from the list verizon - xv6700

then click on "XV6700 Windows Mobile® 5.0 Software Update" under the "Downloads" section.

This is the latest greatest ROM update issued by Verizon, packed with all the Verizon crapware as well

Phone is flashed to cricket network.... cant do that. Wish I could. Can someone help?

Not quite sure what your aiming towards then.

In order to use your phone with the cricket network you have to flash it with a cricket friendly ROM of some sorts. There are plenty out there that use the original WM5.

Otherwise, download the Verizon ROM, skip the installation of the verizon cabs and "hack" your phone to be cricket capable once again.
