EVDO & ActiveSync connection issue
 

I've noticed recently that when I open up PIE, it tries to connect but I get an error message that it (and I'm almost always in the car, so I don't have the exact message verbatim) can't find the modem or can't connect for some reason. After a soft reset, it connects fine.
Strange because it only seems to happen once a day, the first time I try to connect.

The A/S issue is strangely similar. It is giving me the message that, "Synchorization cannot be started because you are not able to log on to the network and access information. Restart your desktop computer and synchronize again. [yada yada]"
If I either soft reset [always works] or sync from the PDA then it will usually sync fine.
However, if I go the soft reset route, I have to be disconnected [no USB connection at all] when I do it or 50% of the time it won't reconnect at all.

Kind of strange, eh?

Neither issue is bad enough that I'm going to reflash/hard reset, but if anyone knows of any fixes or settings that can alleviate the situations, I'd love to try. I'm using a ROM I created from the 1.02 kitchen. Pretty basic.
I've got WisbarAdvance3, iLauncher, Photocontacts Pro, PocketBreeze, PocketWeather, PocketInformant and a few other little things installed.
