New Battery = Reboot Loop?

I purchased a new battery (as mine wasn't lasting more than a few hours) from Amazon. It is supposedly an OEM battery (looks legit when I got it) and when I pop it into my phone and then plug the power in it starts to boot up and then after it gets past the bootloader screen the red light flashes once and the phone shuts off. This process continues over and over and over. I told the company and they sent me a new battery which is doing the same exact thing.

Did I just get beat on the sale or is there something I am doing wrong / not doing?

When I throw my old battery in, the phone boots up fine. The battery just doesn't last very long (but it DOES charge and indicates full charge at start of the day) which is why I wanted to replace it. The 2 oem batteries that I was sent do the weird thing with the reboot loop. This happened with 2 different chargers so I do not believe that has anything to do with it. Any other ideas?
