wisbar & start menu?
 

ok so today I figured I would install wisbar again and play with it since newer versions don't have many issues so I've been reading. and I noticed when I hit the start menu key it brings up the stock menu and not the wisbar cascading menu. anyone else have this happen? or is it just me/my skin?

Just reinstalled it back on and everything seemed working fine. What version are you running? I got v2.6.0.1.

does it work on urs when u hit the start menu key above the green phone key, not when tapping the start icon. I mean I can tap the start icon and all is fine but when I use the key it shows the default one. btw i m running the 2.6.0.8 beta.....its a beta this could be y....I dunno. and the desktop doesn't always show, sometimes it goes to the default skin on the desktop leaving the start bar and bottom skinned. this is why I didn't like it in the first place.

Hmm.. I know what you mean. I got the same stock pull down when using the start menu. Is it suppose to be like this or it can be programed to perform like when hitting the start icon? Please let me know if you find a way to go around it.
P.S. Did you notice any slow down when you start WA? I notice mine slow down and I got that bright screen when I turn it back on this morning. :(

I am/was having the sane problem with WA2. Their is a box that needs to be check in the settings to enable this, but for me it wouldn't work with the last couple of releases. I was going to post about the issue on the lakeridge forums, but I have been playing the exchange game with Sprint. So I have been running my 6700 stock for a while. :(

im thinkin about trying this on my 700wx. didnt have good luck with any of the wisbar stuff on the 6700 so i dono yet. but the 700 IS faster so maybe......

you have to map your start button to the "cascading start menu" under start -> settings -> buttons. this should fix the issue. Let me know how wisbar is because i used it in the past and it froze my ppc regularly :x

welcome and thanks for letting us know. I myself removed it because it started freezing mine up. so I personally wouldn't suggest it.
