Bluetooth Mic and External Speakers?

I bought the Seidio Inno.Dock and mounted it in my truck, just to have a powered dock for playing mp3's. I routed the stereo output of the dock to my radio's line input. I turned on my HS820 BT headset in case a call came in. To my surprise when a call came in, the audio on the mp3 automatically muted and the incoming part of the conversation was routed to my trucks speakers, not the BT earpiece. My BT mic was being used to pick up my voice. I confirmed that by having the other party listen as I stuck the BT under some stuff on my seat and then they couldn't hear me.

So, I was wondering if anyone even knew the 6700 could do that, use the BT mic and route the audio to another source. The odd thing is I can't get it to do that for outgoing calls that I originate, the incoming audio goes to my BT earpiece. I'd love to have it go to my speakers all the time by default. Any idea how I could do that?

It happened to me once but I couldn't get it to do it again, so you say it only works for incoming calls?

Yes, only incoming calls.

This may not help at all, but.....

I know that when you set up a BT device, you can check and un-check features that you want to use the BT device for. You may want to see if there is something that you can configure in the same manner for the connection to your stereo.

This may be something that you have to do a registry modification for.
