Massive BT issues Edit: Skipping Solved!!
Had my 6700 running with a 3.5pr ROM. A2DP sounded awesome on my Jabra BT620s. Upgaded the radio (1.4) and flashed the new 3.5 1.0.2 kitchen and got massive skipping only on A2DP. Tried a few diff Roms and got the same thing. Ended up with Kirvins 3.5 still skipping.
Finially tried the Broacom drivers and hated them but no skipping. Uninstalled and put in Tornado A2DP. Now the sound quality is really bad. On calls and stereo. But no skipping. And the BT just goes off at times also. Any tips from anyone? |
Solved
Just about got it licked.
Now Running Kirvin's 3.5. with 1.4 antenna A2DP working with good sound. Calls working too. Still got 1 ~3 sec skip at beginning of each song. And a few other skips but very few and far between Ran this fix and reg entries and that was that forum.xda-developersDOTcomSLASHshowthreadDOTphp?t=284974 please replace dots and slashes only my second post can't post link |
I'm running Big J's 1.2h rom with the Motorola S9 headest. I have not installed any A2DP hack or anything like that. Mine is running perfectly. The sound quality is excellent.

try these settings. Works fine with Moto S9
/HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings UseJointStereo=0 BitPool=58 MaxSupportedBitPool=80 With these settings I get about 20-30 secs of skipping and then it is fine for the rest of the time. |
Had 47 bitpool and no joint, trying yours now.
|
ouch, that didn't like joint one bit and 47 seems to be my magic number.
Thanks for the reply Anyone know the bit about changing default channels for BT? |
I'm getting the skipping on phone calls for the first 3-4 secs, then it clears up. It doesn't happen every call. My bitpool settings were both @ 30, played around w/ them but still getting the skipping.

try the settings and patch here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284974 Add any reg entries you don't currently have. Myself, I had to play with Bitpool. YMMV[/url] |
Got an s9 yesterday.. I'm running the 1.0.2 kitchen; no skipping (out of the box...)
Windows media player sucks battery like ther's no tomorrow though (~500-600ms usage) - but the audio manager program uses significantly less... -mark |
