Jawbone Bluetooth

or also known as the Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth. I was wondering if any users have used this w/ their xv6700 or ppc6700 phone and if so, how was it? I heard that this is suppose to b one of the best bluetooths for the 6700. I'm thinking about getting this, as the bluetooth i have now doesn't really work for me 'cause i still have a hard time hearing and others have a hard time hearing me at times and we all know how the volume on the phone itself is..lol.

So basically i hear the Jawbone is suppose to b really clear, not only for the user but also for the people ur talking to, so i was wondering if anyone has used this w/ the 6700 and figured i'll c wat u guys (those that have used it) thought about it before buying it.

--Thanks

It works rather well, except in wind. I've actually misplaced mine someplace and am considering just buying a new one.

The only down side to it is that the wire ear clip keeps breaking on me, but I found that it was comfortable enough to just shove into my ear.

A+

Best bluetooth I've ever had.

Excellent bluetooth headseat especially for noise cancellation. Only problem I seem to have with it though is that the Jawbone doesnt take voice commands when trying to use MS Voice Command.

Yes it does. Push the button on the bluetooth, wait for the beep and say the command. I use it everyday.

I have one as well and love it. I had some trouble getting the earloop to ride comfortably and broke two of them in the process. However, Aliph was kind enough to send me a couple replacement earloops (one time only according to them, you can buy an earloop, earbud set on their website for $10). Anyway, I discovered that with a little tweaking, the left earloop holds the earpiece on my right ear more comfortably than the right earloop....

I just got one the other day and I love it. Its the only headset that I have had that I can actually hear anybody on, let alone them hearing me! The thing works great in the car - cancels out all of the road noise.

The only issue that I have is that some people say that they hear an echo when I talk to them - I don't hear anything, but a couple people say they do.

Is there a setting somewhere that allows me to "tweak" the bluetooth quality / settings / something? I would like to experiment a little to see if I can get rid of the echo.

Whenever they hear the echo, I just reduce the volume on the headset, that always gets rid of it. Sometimes the person I'm talking to is so loud that the mic pics up on what they are saying.

Hmmm - seems so simple I must give it a try - thanks a lot!

Here I was thinking that I'd have to hack some registry entry or change some file - oh well maybe next time! - LOL

Thanks again!

I hate the way it fits, so I never wear mine. I use my Motorola H700 or my Bluespoon all the time instead. Anyone wanna buy mine?! ;-)
