Opinions please - Apache Vets

i have the verizon version apache. had the dreaded dsod issue. upgraded to 20755 with the kitchen. crikees its fast now, much mo bettah!! checked the reg edit for the dsod (gwes or whatever). checked the timer settings. hours and hours of searching. friggin thing still won't come out of hibernate. dead with a green right side light. wont soft reset, nothing. pull the battery, restart, and its fine. constant use, its fine. let it sit for about five minutes and it dies. gotta be the battery, right?? but i have two batteries, and they both do it. odds on two batteries crapping out?? dunno, but i ordered a brand new battery, be here by friday. please, for the love of God, someone tell me they know whats wrong with this unit. this is really a hail mary, i have researched it till my eyes are bleeding. ](*,)

Do you have any apps in me memory card that have plugins on the Today screen? Have you tried a different ROM or had this issue before you are using the ROM you are using now?

I have no memory card in it, does the same thing with a base rom, or loaded like it is now. tried a couple a different roms (loving the kitchen). and it did this before i started cooking. I reckon that was with the oem wm5 rom. started cooking it to get rid of the dsod. gonna try a radio downgrade (1.43 to 1.41) read something that the radio 1.43 has reset issues...

**update** yeah that didnt help any...

I remember having the dreaded dsod quite a bit in the early days, but I feel like after the last "official" update from HTC the problems stopped. I've also never had any dsod's with any custom Roms. So I'm afraid I don't have any advice for you... maybe just get a new one off ebay??

Yeah upgrading the Radio wont affect it was the Radio and ROM are two different things. I see you already tried and know this though. However, I want you to try this ROM here and see if it resolves your issue.
