Can you deactivate startup of activesync in your computer?

I used to sync my XV6700 with my laptop.
But I have since shifted gears and sync it with my desktop.
But the activesync still starts and resides in the tray bar of my laptop (running on Vista).
Can I stop activesyn from starting at boot-up?
I don't need it to start up.

Start -> Run -> MSCONFIG -> Start Up tab and uncheck it.
