Replacement phone tips...?
 

So my 6700 has been broken for a bit. The sprint store in my area only wants to replace it with a trio since they do not have any 6700's in stock. The insurance company itself does have the 6700's but is there any chance I can pull a mogule from someway out of this. If not its not a big deal but since I reciently paid the price for the phone which is the same as the SERO price for the Mogule and now will also have a $50 deductable, i was hoping I could get a slight upgrade in this.

keep calling sprint.. and talk to people in insurance (assuming you have it) and talk to people in sales... eventually you will get somebody who will allow the exchange/upgrade... its worked for a couple people i know including myself... best of luck

man, ive been trying for 2 weeks....and nada man....they even stopped responding to my emails....be sure not to get Mioche in the emails

I just talked to another one who spoke good english. (the first one was talking so fast I just felt like hanging up)

She said that they are not allowed to replace the 6700 with a Mogule. Pretty much end of story. If they do then they get fired lol.

The sprint store keeps saying they will replace it with a Trio which is nowhere near a replacement for me.

Guess I will just take a 6700 in replacement and try to make it last. Im not unhappy with my phone but that mogle was what I really wanted back when I thought it would be out. Of course it takes a good 6 months later and cost the same as I purchassed my phone for on the Sero plan. Sigh.

you shouldn't have to settle for something less and make that clear for them if they keep insisting about the Treo. If you can wait a week more they might get more 6700's in stock, or just keep checking other Sprint stores.

No Store in town has any. Its insurance over the phone or bust it seams.

Ahh i just might wait a bit since i just spend $ for tires and have to take the 200 early cancel fee from sprint when i close this one account after getting that sero account going.

Went to the sprint store again.
 

I had them look at my phone (again) and this time she came out with a new phone.

So I have a shiny new PPC6700 and am working on flashing my rom and restoring my data back onto it as I type this.

I want to make sure everythings good then I might try some of the newer roms that have come out since I got this one. (like one of the first 3.5 Empty roms lol (PPCGeeks_3.5)

So far soo good.
