another problem...screen fades to white & need to soft r
 

This thing is starting to drive me crazy...yesterday & today I just had an episode where the screen gradually (over ~ 3 seconds) faded out to white and I neeed to reset it.
Yesterday it happened when I was changing the Menus settings; today was when I pressed the phone hard button.

Anybody seen this before?

yea a bad install or uninstall as usual. I didn't figure out what caused it tho. I just hard reset and started over.

that is really a bad unistall. I tried removing several programs but for some reason the folders were still there after unistalling them......even tried it from the activesync unistall....and nothing... So i manualy deleted t folder and then ran memmaid to get rid of the dead shortcuts and that fixed my problem.
