help with 6700
 

i jus got a 6700 in today, it was working fine....for about 5 mins..... then the screen faded to white, no it will not turn back on.... any thoughts? or has this happened to anyone else, im debating on wether or not to send it back...

once the screen went white, i tried charging it cause i figured the battery just died, then when still charging i tried to turn it on again it started to turn on then the same thing happen, now it wont do anything

Do a hard reset and report back. And remember that a hard reset will erase EVERYTHING.

nothing happened w/ the hard reset... but before i did that i got it to turn on for about 2 secs, after it wouldent do anything for the last 20 mins, yeah its straight ive only had it for bout 1.5hrs, dont have anything on it yet not even contacts

i got it to turn on and stay on, cept its jus a all white screen

yea sounds like it is a hardware problem to me you should get your money back or trade for a better one

yeah i already sent it back haha im pissed though 1.5 weeks wit out a cell i was goin crazy, now its just rediculous...

I can't believe people still even use the 6700, crazy. In all likelihood, Verizon will probably ship you a 6800 or a Touch Pro.

No Verizon will probably not. There are still plenty of 6700 refurbs. You would be in luck to get a Mogul. They will NEVER upgrade you to a Touch Pro, they guard those peices of trash like they're gold.
