problem with mms
 

hello all,
I completely apologize if this has been answered, i've googled to death looking but haven't found an answer for my phone. I installed palm threaded sms on my ppc 6700 and as stated now my mms doesn't work. I've seen that some phones have put out a fix for it but I can't seem to find one for mine. I've also noticed that some use a third party mms program but even on handango.com i cannot find one. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

You may have searched Google, but it seems you didn't search the forums; this has been discussed endlessly.

The MMS portion of the Palm threaded app DOES NOT work and WILL NOT work.

If you need MMS, you need to install the MMS CAB and send them through that separate app.

thanks for the response, sorry for the repeatative questioning. I found this here PPCGeeksSprintMMS.cab, would that be what I install? and would it effect the threaded sms?

Thats the one, what it will do is in your inbox (outlook, and whatnot) there will be a MMS dropdown menu, and there is where you would insert a multimedia file, and send it. its all very simple and worth it if you are going to use it.
