works great on 6700 and wm5

this service works great with wm5 and wm6. i signed up for an account to use with my gmail account and installed the software on my apache/6700 (it's about 2 megabytes). i already had my work exchange account being pushed to my device and windows live installed to push my hotmail too. so, the software allowed me to add a third push account. it even allows for additional email accounts to push - i just dont have any more to add. the software integrates well and creates another mailbox which is accessible same way as others. even better there does not seem to be any additional battery drain like windows live mobile seems to cause when set to 'sync as mail arrives'

here's a thread from pocketnow.com where a guy has it working well on his dash:

I'm using it on my 6700 ( sprint ). It is working well. No extra text messages. I am using gmail. Very easy. I really like that when you respond to a email it comes from your original "linked" account.

What do you guys do to send emails from say for example your gmail account if you don't want people to see your "@consilient.com" account or "@mail2web.com" account.

I received a text message with all the passwords, etc. when I signed up my account. there is also a help tab on the website on the upper right side. also a faq and forum for wm devices within that help section.

I am not sure about consilient but with mail2web you have to pay $2 a month and use a personal exchange account. then follow the directions on the control panel for handling another email account.

Thanks sethlo! http://www.consilient.com/ works well for the most part, and allows users to push up to five email accounts to their PPC for free.

Update... One issue so far... sometimes the Push icon will not open the consilient software here for some reason. That said, after a soft reset, it works fine again for a while. So... for the moment, I have set it to manual push, and will keep testing it.

Best to all,
R
