can any one point me to a diy guide for eplacing the lcd/digitizer?

is there any tests i can do to see if the didgitizer actually needs replacing? my touchscreen no longer responds.

Try a Hard Reset. THat happend to me one time. Never found out why. There isa no option to disable the Touch Screen but it stopped working and worked after hard reset.

I agree, I seen this happen on a friends phone as well.
