Apache 6700 internal GPS
I noticed that some places show that the Apache has internal aGPS. ( http://www.htcwiki.com/page/PPC+6700+Specs )
Is there any software that can take advantage of this for navigation? (or anything else) I searched a lot and couldn't really find anything so I assume that it can't, otherwise someone would have already figured it out, but I thought I'd ask just to make sure. Thanks, Waspinator |
Re: Apache 6700 internal GPS
You can refine your search by including "QPST" with 6700 and agps in google.. aGPS is different than an actual internal GPS, it uses data from the carrier to determine your position by cell towers etc. QPST is a program that allows you to edit those settings built into the phone, but you'll have to find a walkthrough for that program - it can be dangerous.

Re: Apache 6700 internal GPS
No GPS on Apache without an external reciever, period. And no need to lie, you could not have searched and not have found something on 6700 GPS. Threads have been posted on that many times, you just didn't look very hard if at all.
