No, you would not. Well, you COULD, but its not ethical, legal, or allowed. At the store they would want your old one when they give you a new one. And when you make a claim, they would require you to send the old one back. If you don't they will charge you heavily on your bill and possibly cancel your insurance. Plus, the old one is supposed to be listed somewhere so that it cannot be activated. I've heard stories that you could get them active, but they'd figure it out eventually I'm sure.
