Re: Loading ROM Problem

Then you have hardware problems. Try a different Mini USB cable. If that fails then there is probably a broken pin on your phones port.

Re: Loading ROM Problem

I'm not sure then. Try starting out flashing in bootloader from the start.

Re: Loading ROM Problem

What bootloader version do you have? Did you take a 2.05 and lower it to 2.02?

Re: Loading ROM Problem

That's what your problem is. You need to use NoID RUU. It is really stupid, and that is one of the worst guides in my opinion because n00bs try it then don't use NoID RUU cause the guide doesn't mention it. Once again, THERE IS NO REASON TO BRING 2.05 DOWN TO 2.02!

well i was using the guide because i was stuck in 2.05! ok ill give it a try.

Re: Loading ROM Problem

so should i have it in bootloader from the start of the flash? when it tells me what my current device information and what its being changed to its all blank...? and its still telling my its not made for my device! i have to be doing something stupid wrong.
does the device have to be activated?

Re: Loading ROM Problem

No...

You can start in bootloader if you want. But you HAVE TO USE NOID RUU. I hate that the guide doesn't tell you that.
