stupid question, but I can't get the jar file to install... What am I missing?

dalsik 07-14-2007 07:55 PM

@rlith: go here: http://www.nogoogle.textamerica.com/?r=5654729 for info on how to install jar file.

What is the difference between Opera Mini and Opera 8.65? They both work on the PPC 6700. And so far, Opera mini seems to take a while to "process" a page before it displays it. Doesn't seem any quicker than with PIE. And I can't look at my yahoo mail in Opera mini!

EDIT: Answer to question about mini vs. 8.65.

Opera Mini is not the same as Opera Mobile. Opera Mobile is a full blown browser, while Opera Mini uses a server to enhance the web page to fit small screens, and should work on most cell phones today. Opera Mobile doesn’t work on every phone that has Java installed.

So which one are people using more? So far, the mini 3.x is kludgy and not any faster than PIE. Just trying out 4 and there is a cool feature when you go to a new web page, you get an overview graphical representation of the web page. you can then click on a part of the page and the browser will zoom into that section of the webpage.

opera mini is faster than PIE and Opera Mobile, i know that cuz i use them all.
opera mini 4 beta works great but it crashes after a while for me too.
