SPB Mobile Shell - Can't update weather
 

I have Mobile Shell installed. I found it as an OEM on the FTP and really like the Now screen, so I added it to BigJs latest.

I can't seem to figure out where to update what area I'm in for the weather. Am I high? Am I missing something?

If you're high, I'm jealous...

I remember reading somewhere that the 1.5 version of SPB Shell was dependent upon having SPB Weather also installed. Don't quote me on that though... just a guess.

1.5 is not dependent on Spb Weather for its weather update.

I had many problems running Mobile Shell as an OEM in my ROM so i stopped installing it that way. It now works perfectly.

Aw damnit. That is SO not what I wanted to hear. I've finally got it running perfectly except this.

I wonder if maybe it's missing files I can copy over?

I had many issues using the OEM for v1.0 but using (IIRC ) Luv2chills 1.5 version (in the new OEM folder works well cooked in the ROM) Ive had success. Both SPB Diary and Plus cause issues when cooked so I still manually install those.

on the Today screen - u might have to start Mobile shell plugin..

Once u see weather on that.... press the weather ...

You shall get 4 days of weather in next line..... Press any of that for 2 seconds to get Alternate menu....there u shall have city option also option to mannualy update weather
