I got this working perfectly on youtube mobile, but I was wondering if anyone had gotten it to work with orb? It works fine when I go to the test page on EVDO (test.orb.com) and select 3gp player. However I can't stream anything from my computer, either over wi-fi or EVDO. I think it might be a problem with my router, but I opened up the ports as described on orb's website (http://support.orb.com/support/solution.jsp?sol=178) and still can't get anything.

This works great with Helmi_APAC_WM3.5_NEW_Kitchen's. I couldn't get it to work without OEM_VERIZON_MMS.3.0.6.24 from the OEM folder. I don't have a bluetooth headset so not sure if that works either. I also posted info about the OEM for cooking in another thread here.

I found this cab through HoFo, but all credit to RvBCrS over at xda for making this availabe for everyone to use.

Wow, the RyBCrS player works perfectly on my 6700, and the bluetooth even works perfectly on it. I just use the bttoggle program that came included on the Colonel's ROM, and it goes to my bt headset without a hitch.

I can't get this to work...I installed the CAB from the FTP link above to the internal PPC6700 storage and rebooted...but the program does not work...

Trying to run the "Streaming Media" app from programs gives me the error: "The file 'StreamingPlayer' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."....

I have tried reinstalling without any success....

I am on Sprint running Saridnour's AKU 3.5 PR6 rom...

there's more to it than just installing the cab.....did you follow these instructions:?

1. Copy ALL FILES in StreamingPlayer.zip to /Windows
2. Copy StreamingVideo.lnk to /Windows/Start Menu/Programs
3. install 838Pro_Streaming_v210.cab to Main Memory
4. Soft reset

You also have to copy the attached .dll that was posted above.

I was trying to use the RvBCrS_HTC_Streaming_Media.cab from the FTP link...I have examined the CAB and it is a completely different install than the ZIP and CAB from the first post...

I guess I will try the installs from the first post...

Not sure what core the rom you use is based on, but I had the exact error on a colonel rom based on an older core r3 kitchen. I cooked my own with the helmi r4 core and it works great.

May be an easier fix, but cooking is a bad habit that feels pretty good :)

I have Release the OEM for the Same 2 Week Before it there in New OEM Folder in Hetal Patel if anybuddy want to Include it into ROM

But Remember Some 3 or 4 file is clashing with Arcsoft MMS Software so Delete those file from ArcSOft MMS FOlder before Building the ROM

Question about rtsp/3gp/real media
 

I got this program working on my sprint ppc 6700 after replacing the default dll. Thank you!

I was wondering... is rtsp the same as ".ra" (Real Media) files? Can I play BBC radio 1 streams with this player? What exactly is m.youtube.com? Is it to allow some of their files to be played on cellphones?
