Does unsuccessful installation take up memory?

I've been trying to install an icon set for my AgendaFusion to no avail.
To make matters worse, I notice that the available storage memory has decreased considerable than before my attemps to install the icon set.
Even running SK Tools to clean up the memory cannot reclaim the lost memory.

In general, do even unsuccessful installations take up memory?
If so, how do you reclaim it?

Re: Does unsuccessful installation take up memory?

It can work the same way a uninstallation on a PC works. There may be remnants of files or folders left behind that you manually have to go and delete. PPCs are no different.
