Apache vibrate not working

My apache will not vibrate on anything. i know for a fact that it works, so it must be a software issue. i've searched and not come up with anything on this. i do have events/warnings and programs set to vibrate. i have used ppc6700hacks, idk if that would make a difference. i would like to avoid a hard reset or reflashing b/c i worked really hard to get my settings the way they are. any help would be great.

Time for new hardware. That has happend to a lot of Apache, although never any of mine. File a claim or try and get a replacment. In these days you now have a good chance of getting a 6800.

Oh yeah, this has happened to a lot of ppls 67s. 3 of mine to be exact. Its not software related like you think. I would call mine and watch it come up on the screen but it wouldnt vibe so i would lightly bump it on my desk and then it would start vibing again. I was always missing calls due to this.

thanks for your help, but i fixed it. it seems to be working fine, all i had to do was re-flash with a rom that didn't include the apachehax.exe. i don't know why this fixed it, but after a lot of trial and error i decided that was what was doing it. thanks again

It happened to mine when I threw it against the wall. Although I did find the vibrator a week later on the floor, which would explain why my phone wouldn't vibrate...

Yeah, the way it just sits in the chassis makes it easy for the vibrator to work its way loose. The one stupid engineering flaw. ](*,)
