Please SOMEONE HELP me..!!
 

i just bought a refurbished PPC xv6700. everytime i try to put a ROM on it i get the error that the ROM wastn made for my phone? so whats the deal? Im also stuck in bootloader mode atm and cant get out until i find out what ROM i need to put on it. PLEASE HELP.

You're trying to use the WM6 ROM and your bootloader is too new for it. And it also would help if you would be more considerite and quit posting so many threads. This is not the chat room, answers are not instant. Use the kitchen and use the right REV version for your bootlaoder.

mmk sorry. so i am but after its done building and says starting RUU, nothing happens

so i did cook a ROM and put in my REV num, its v2.02, and again got ERROR 100: MODEL ID ERROR and tells me this ROM was not made for my device. ?

yeah, when im in bootloader mode it says at the bottom v2.02. but none of these ROMS work, i get error 100 everytime. i dont know what to do. :/

Okay. So you're selecting 2.02 which is for your bootloader. Are you on Vista?

Do you have Windows Mobile Device Center installed? You need that and to have USB Connections truned off
