FINIALLY got Sprint6700 to work for NTELOS w/ Data
 

Heres what happened:

got the MLS code from sprint (while i was still with them - told them i needed to adjust the cycle count )

got the PRL from corolada.com/prl/ get the one for ntelos on the right side 02***
installed the prl
changed the phone numbers in the CDMA section to the new NTELOS number
called ntelos told them that i bought a used NTELOS 6700 from ebay and it was already all setup and i just needed them to activate the ESN .

they will ty and have you enter their own ## codes that is supposed to start a auto install from ntelos (but since these are not really ntelos phones and I cant find the ext rom) i told them that i had the MLS code and everythign was alreay setup.

they charged me $10.00 to do the change over ( i think i should have been paid the $10.00 for teaching them some stuff)
20 minutes later all is working (EVEN DATA) but not at EVDO yet , they just started getting it in this area

just remember never say, NEVER SAY sprint at any time when they ask what kind of phone it is. DONT even say the SP part on the model number when they ask you.

You don't really need to flash to ntelos since there isn't a rom to flash TO for ntelos since it was never supposed to be used by 6700s, what you do is program it yourself manually, use the PRL that was given by the OP and follow his guidelines, all should work fine.

For the CDMA programming menu, it's ##778#, click on Edit, enter your MSL, then in the menus is what you need to change (MDN is your phone number, MSID needs to be given by the rep). If you already have a phone with ntelos and you can view it's information, you can do most of this data entry before you even call, then it's that much easier and it's just a simple ESN swap.

Easy. Had that done 2 yrs ago. I've got the touch pro on.
