reverting back to older bootloader.. how hard is it really?
I want to revert back to the older boot loader since my phone has the 2.05 on it and i cant flash ANY roms..... i Do need to do that correct to flash any of the custom roms? and i was reading the thread on how to do it.. Im sure i can do it. but does it go smoothly? is there anything is hould know to make it simpler or specific directions that i may want to know other than the thread?

No. That thread on reverting is old. There is no need to revert. It does have les storage ROM space but it doesn't make much difference. Use buildOS. You would only be able to use the old pre-made roms with an apache with bootloader 1.00 or 1.02 not even the 2.xx series.

My old apache had 2.05 and I still cooked up a few roms with stuff as big as Manila-2d, skyfire, games, office, and some other things. Just start with very little and keep adding on.
Don't bother yourself with unnecessary troubles. |

oh man.. i thought i totally Fed up the phone today.. well i fixed it thank god.. i had to flash the older bootloader to even get the phone to boost past the boot loader screen.. i was a little scared for a second.. i pulled it out of my *** somehow

You don't flash older bootloaders. You flash ROMs.

whatever.. fine i "installed/reverted back" to the older bootloader AND IT FIXED MY PROBLEMS. You flash the radio and the rom. i know. sorry. i worded it worng

You didn't change your bootloader. You just reverted to OEM ROM. Glad it's working.
