s2u2 v1.22 Probs
 

I added slide to unlock (also with slide to view included) into my rom. I really like s2u2 but it keeps giving me an error message if I try to change any settings. It then will not work after I get the error message. It says across the top s2us.exe, then "the file s2u2 cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"

I have tried a different build with no luck either. If the two programs are available together as a zip or cab file how would I locate them? I have searched in here and in xda developers.

thats a really old version, its a 1.40 now, try a new version. heres the creators link. http://www.ac-s2.com/

Not only that, apps that get updated often, such as S2U2, S2V, and S2P, should always be added via cabs so you can change them easier.

huh I would have thought that since I updated Build Os that it would have the latest stuff in it. Thanks though guys.

No, I have told people time and time again not to build software into their ROM that always get's updates. I know one person who doesn't even like doing OEMs for the Slide 2 series since A_C is always updating.

Its true S2U2 and the others he makes are always updating. Its true there is a newer version and I make it a habit to check about once a week. Sin ce everything has been covered except that error you got, lemme address that even though there isnt much to address. On installation of an app I came into this error as well. I tried to re-download and it didnt help. I posted threaded about it and got no help at all. It seems as if no one new anything about it although there were other threads on it. None were answered. So good luck.

I flashed another rom this time leaving the s2u2 out and then downloaded the cab file. It works perfectly now, I think that it couldn't find the exe file when it was cooked in because the s2u2 program was installed somewhere different than if you installed it as a cab. Anyways I'm all set for now, thanks guys.:headbang:
