Lock touch screen while in a call

I have noticed that when I finish a call my cheek has opened the alarm window, start menu, or what ever it touches.

I remember that the first MW5 device I had was the 700W and there was a setting to lock the touch screen while in a call.

Does anyone know of a program to do this or a hack?

Thanks!

You should be able to accomplish this with a scripting program such as mortscript or skschema.

Actually if use device lock, it will lock the screen as soon as phone goes to sleep. So if you are on a call, the device will and should lock b4 the call is ended. I have currently been using slide lock and I am getting the same results. Both items can be found at xda forums.

the first thread is for slide and the second is for device lock. Colonel had these in his customised roms and they were great apps for me.

Just tap the power button after the call is connected. The screen will turn off, but the call will be unaffected. The screen will turn back on by itself when you hang up.

You could always just stop smiling and laughing while your on the phone too. That will stop the cheek from hitting the wrong buttons.

Sorry had to say it

Thanks for the info. I think that hitting the power buttor might be the easiest idea.

Unless there is some sort of registry string that could be added to work like the 700W.

I use the power button. My fat ears press all kinds of crazy buttons when I am on the phone.

Maybe something with mortscript like mentioned above?
