Reception problem?
 

Alltel phone flashed to cricket network using the newest Kitchen rom built by me... Sitting next to another actual cricket phone (slvr) and a Verizon RAZR flashed to the Cricket network, they both have better reception then my ppc6700... is there anyway I can enhance the reception my phone gets?

How big is the difference? Are we talking 3-4 bars, or more like 0-1? It is normal to see some fluctuations between phones. My treos always got 2 bars less than my girlfriends free verizon phone, but I rarely dropped calls.

I actually get 1-2 bars lower than her phone still with my XV6700.

A note bars literally mean nothing... Just some random way of making you think you've got good signal

Yeah, Bars are constantly allways on either little or no signal except for certain points in the city... but, at my home, most of my text messages dont go through and same with phone calls.
